Check-in will take place on July 2nd from 1:00 to 4:00pm in Faulkner Hall lobby, #28.
Dinner on Sunday is from 5:45 pm to 7:150 pm in building #5, program begins at 7:30pm in building #3.
Check out on Wednesday by 1:00 pm.

Terms of Payment
Early Bird and Regular prices include registration, processing, accommodations and meals. Fees DO NOT include the cost of Hotel rooms. Participants staying at a Hotel should arrange for room payment directly with the Hotel.

  • Please pay the ENTIRE amount upon completion.
  • If you register as a family and select apartment for the adults, the children will be placed in the same apartment according to number of family members and the accommodations note below.
  • Registrations made after May 10th will be accepted depending on availability of space.
  • Full payment is due by June 14th, 2017 (regular fee).
  • A full refund is available if a written cancellation request is emailed and received before June 14th, 2017. (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) Refunds will be the amount paid minus Paypal fees for all credit card transactions. After June 14th payment is not refundable but is transferable to another person.
  • When registering, be ready to make the complete Payment. You will be taken to the Payment page at the end of the registration. Accommodations

  • Dorm rooms (Faulkner Hall, #28 on map) are equipped with 2 single beds and can accommodate 2 sleeping bags for minors on the floor – at most four (4) people.
  • Apartments - for 2 or more persons (Pecan Grove - floor plan, #11, The Oaks - floor plan, #12) are equipped with
    • 2 single beds (private bedroom and bathroom), a shared kitchen and common living area. Can accommodate 4 sleeping bags for minors on the floor – at most six (6) people.
    • 4 single beds (private bedrooms), 2 shared bathrooms, common kitchen and living area. Can accommodate 4 sleeping bags for minors on the floor – at most eight (8) people.

Please note:

  • A family of five or more will need to reserve 2 Dorm rooms or an Apartment at the regular room rate. Minors are not allowed to dorm in a room without an adult.
  • Should on campus accommodations no longer be available and Hotel accommodations are sought, reservation and payment with the Hotel are the participant’s responsibility.
  • Register only once – no multiple registrations
  • Register for 1 group only – avoid having to pay more than once.

Mariapolis Guidelines

  • Please arrive before 11:00pm on July 2nd.
  • Check-in takes place on July 2nd from 1:00pm to 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-out will be on July 5th after 9:00 a.m.
  • Children and Teens follow parallel activities which allow them to participate fully in the Mariapolis and make their own unique experience.
  • Nursery facilities for children age 3 and under will be provided.
  • Young people 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Translations - Please indicate on the registration form if Spanish translation is needed.
  • Each person should bring his/her own linens, including sheets, towels, a pillow and a blanket. Bring sleeping bag if preferred. Beds are twin size extra long.

Register Online

Deposit for keys - Please bring a check for $75.00 (per key), made out to Schreiner University, as a deposit for your room key. Your check will be returned to you when you return the key at the end of the Mariapolis.

Facility Rules

  • All individuals will abide by Texas law, federal law and Schreiner University regulations regarding intoxicants, narcotics, alcohol and drugs.
  • Firearms, weapons, ammunition, fireworks explosives and highly flammable materials are not allowed within the residence halls, apartments, and buildings or on the Schreiner university grounds.
  • Animals are not allowed on campus except for service animals (advanced notification required).
  • Candles, hotplates, and similar appliances are not permitted in rooms nor is any type of cooking allowed in any room except kitchen areas.
  • Ample Parking is available. Parking in fire lane is not allowed.
  • Tampering with the fire system or firefighting equipment is not allowed.
  • Gambling or solicitation in any form is not permitted. Tobacco use of any kind is not permitted on university campus. Schreiner University is a tobacco free campus.
  • It is the policy of Schreiner University, in accordance with state statues that alcohol may not be sold on Schreiner University premises by individuals or groups. Camp groups may not furnish, directly or indirectly, alcohol to minors under 21 years of age.

Online Registration Directions

To Register -- Go to http://event.focolare.us/events.

  1. Under Mariapolis 2017, click the green Register button.
  2. To register 1 person, click on individual. To register 2 or more or a family, click on group.
    For Individual registration, create a login account (username and password). Then complete the form for yourself and proceed to the payment page, where you must choose Paypal or using a credit card. A minimum of $75 is required.
  3. For Group registration:
  • Complete member 1 form for the first person in your group.
  • To add another person from your family (or group), click “add member”. Complete and repeat for each person in your family (group).
  • After all are entered, click “complete group”.
  • Create a login account (username and password).
  • Complete Billing Information form using your name and info.
  • Click Next Step.
  • You will see all members listed for your review.
  • Click Next Step and WAIT while it takes you to the payment page, where you must choose Paypal or using a credit card.

4. You will receive a confirmation email.

To return to your registration to complete payment:
1) Go to http://event.focolare.us/events.
2) Login by entering Username and Password on the right side.
3) Click on “My Registrations” in the Main Menu box on the right side. Your event will appear.
4) Click on “Pay Now”. You will see a list of those you have registered.
5) Scroll to the bottom and you will see “Pay amount due”. It is selected with the total next to it.
6) If that is the desired amount you wish to pay, click “Next Step” and complete payment.
